Links (some ass, some ass, some ass)
The links below lead you to sites that speak about people with the following qualities: they make good things; I know them; they are nice; they have more talent than I do and I’m flattered to know them.
The marvelous world of music:
The people of akouphène are good people, not only because they give a house to my website and made it, or because they invite me to their festival, but because the whole of the festival is good. (Plus, they cook great homemade food and they have incredible names.)
The other best label in the world is of course audiotong.
Vincent Daoud plays the saxophone, and sometimes he is like “the fall guy” when he premiers a piece of mine.
Nicolas Deletaille plays the cello and the arpeggione, he is now part of the team Car de Thon and that's good for us.
There's only one orchestra that counts, the IMO.
The other best (net)label in the world is of course Insubordinations.
When they are not busy playing Opus 40 Centimetres or Aus den Sieben Tagen, Yannick Barman and Cyril Regamey enjoy their free time to perform with Kiku an ensemble of good people.
Rachel Kolly… aah ! Rachel...
Eminent member of le Car de Thon, high level performer of my music, Christophe Schweizer has his own website.
The marvelous world of comic books (sequential art), illustrations and pictures in general:
Peggy Adam is not American, but she is here, and also here.
A website with illustrations by Baladi.
This is Besse’s website, the other famous freelance working for Charlie Hebdo.
The collaboration of Baladi and Brice (a comic book which title is Opus 69) is available at La Cafetière, that also edits all kind of enlightening and disconcerting books (with pictures). (There was a cool joke here on the French version of the website, but I don’t have a team of translators to find the equivalent in English. Learn French.)
This is Coco’s website, the other famous freelance working for Charlie Hebdo.
Bastien Gachet is doing everything better than other people, and that's annoying.
You have to rush to the Collectif Hécatombe’s website before they become as famous, conventional and expensive as Jeff Koons.
This website talks about Mister Rabin, Ibn al Rabin.
This website talks about Andreas Kundig, the guy who made the reference theological book “Mes meilleurs Jésus” (“My best Jesuses”).
One of the most __________ (fill with the dithyrambic adjectif or your choice), please welcome Olivier Texier. And he also posts an illustration a day on this website.
Sometimes I meet people whose work I really admire, and all of a sudden they turn out to be great people too. For example famous Tom Tirabosco.
One cannot miss Yassine's fascinating blog.
The marvelous world of asses (as this is the main purpose of being on the Internet after all):
L'alakran: not only asses, but also tampax strings with swiss flags at the end. That is Oskar Gomez Mata’s company, also with Delphine Rosay, Esperanza Lopey, etc.
My friend Franz Galo’s asses, who takes pictures.
He could just be one of the best dancers of the known world, but no, Foofwa d'Imobilité is also one of the funniest, most sensitive and most profound of them. What an ass!
