Perfotherapy, Théâtre du Grütli, 6th of January 2008

Here, well, that’s the second half of the “perfotherapy”, a workshop given by le Car de Thon for people who are not (professional) artists. Here, the non (professional) artist is Daniel, who works in a bank in real life. He wrote and made this show with four members of le Car de Thon: Lucie Eidenbenz, Virginie Lièvre, Christophe Schweizer et Brice Catherin. (Camera : X)

Brice, artistic dictator of le Car de Thon

To paint this portrait, whose realism is nothing less but striking, of my humble person as the artistic dictator of le Car de Thon, I had to work with a bunch of artists that even Hollywood is jealous of: Fabio Visone (photography), Alex Baladi (drawings), and someone (animation).

Because this site is nothing but a monument erected to my own glory, here is the first song ever wrote, composed about me and performed for me, and by the way the very first song of its author-composer-singer Delphine Digonnet, whom we loudly applaud and whom I thank a lot of many times. It’s called “Brice”.

Homage to Stockhausen’s “Studie II” under my shower
For a super cool project of a vinyl record with a capella remakes of famous tunes, I remade Stockhausen’s “studie II” under my shower. I went as far in perfectionism as reproducing the saturations of the original. The vinyl was unfortunately not produced in the end.

The young and full of talent Fabio Visone directed these two teasers and street performances out of “opus 40 centimetres” for the website of the theatre where the show was premiered in May 2009. Delphine Rosay wrote the script. The guy in panties is Brice Catherin.
