Discography

One cannot but notice that I made the following CDs and recordings:

Early Works is a beautiful CD that contains three pieces composed during my prolific studies, and that were premiered a few years later during a memorable concert at the Eglise Saint-François (Lausanne) with performers competing in greatness. All the information is on the Audiotong Website.

Then le Car de Thon made this magnificent compilation of its best Stockhausen called Nos meilleurs Stockhausen (for "our best Stockhausen's) which you can download it for free on the Insubordinations netlabel.

Opus 69 is a comic book / CD made with the illustrator Baladi. Four short and silent stories by him, four compositions by Brice Catherin. It resulted in a lesbian feminist esoteric porn album. You can read more about it on la Cafetière website.

One cannot but notice that I participated a little bit, a lot or passionately in the following CDs and recordings:

Illustrator Olivier Texier and myself took part on this marvelous sonic fanzine. Unfortunately I was not noticed on the recording of mine that would be printed, and it's a terrible one. Nevertheless the fanzine remains a terrific piece of art that you can order at Charlatan & fils.

One can watch me (among others) conducting the Insub Meta Orchestra on this very very limited edition of this very great DVD by Monsieur Jean.

Bristophe, participated in this very nice compilation made by akouphene whose name is “guns’n’noises” and which pieces can all be found for free on their Youtube channel.

By-products

In this delicious and strictly commercial section, I present all the by-production of the multinational Car de Thon:

The posters of the all audience and abnormal concerts of le Car de Thon at the Traverse (Geneva) are drawned and screen process (by hand) in a A2 format by the members of Hécatombe. It costs 20.-CHF per poster, or 30.-CHF per two of them. There are six of them: T'as fini de faire du bruit ?

The music scores made by professional illustrators who do not know music, which can be seen in the "listen to pieces where I improvise" section, where put together in a marvelous silk-screen little (out of print) book that can be seen here. The amazing team of "Drozophile" (Geneva) made it.

The first by-product is this magnificent Opus 40 Centimetres Memory Cards Set made by Gilles Prodhomme, and inspired (very freely) by my famous piece Opus 40 centimetres (of which you can find extracts in the video section, by the way). To order your own Opus 40 Centimetres Memory Cards Set, you just have to send an email to produitsderives[at]bricecatherin.org and someone will give you the details. Personally I do not even know how much it costs. It looks like this and this.
